This Privacy Policy explains how SmartNest Developers ("we", "us", "our") handles information when you use the SmartNest mobile application (the "App"). By using the App, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

Messages you send us — for example, when you contact support or send feedback.

Device information — device model, operating system version, app version, and language settings.
Usage data — features used, screens viewed, crash reports, and general diagnostics that help us improve stability.

We do not knowingly collect precise location, contacts, photos, or microphone data unless a feature explicitly requests that permission and you grant it. You can withdraw permissions at any time in your device settings.

3. On-device AI processing

Conversations with AI models inside the App are processed entirely on your device using the llama.cpp inference engine. Your chat history is stored only in local storage (Room database) and is never sent to our servers or any third party. Deleting a conversation removes it from your device permanently. Network access is used solely to download model files.

4. How we use information

To provide, maintain, and improve the App and its features.
To diagnose crashes, fix bugs, and improve performance.
To respond to your support requests and feedback.
To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information.

We keep personal information only for as long as it is needed for the purposes described above. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

The App is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your region), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
